Hello,
Is there any way to model soil with Mohr-Culomb theory in Aurora?
Best Regards,

Re: Mohr-Columb material model for soil
Hello Konrad,
in Z88Aurora there is no material law that considers shear with permanent deformation. Therefore, a direct calculation of soil with mohr-coulomb is not possible. You could proceed iteratively by yourself and determine the shear from the resulting stresses and apply the permanent deformation again as a displacement boundary condition. Unfortunately, this sounds and is quite complex.
Best regards and good luck
