English help files missing
It seems there are no english help files, only german ones. When I switch to english the pdf's all show up empty. I don't kno0w if you are aware of this.

Yes - i think they are aware of this.Sebastian hat geschrieben:It seems there are no english help files, only german ones. When I switch to english the pdf's all show up empty. I don't kno0w if you are aware of this.
I don't know how long it will take to get to an english ( international) version so i
have suggested if they can supply german text of the user / theory guide in a selectable form then
then using 'google translate' would be a good workaround for now.

Re: English help files missing
Not a bad idea although it would probably be easier (to understand) if there was a proper english version. Google Translate tends to lose bits here and there. Fortunately I speak German... but many users don't... Still, an awesome releaseTim hat geschrieben:Yes - i think they are aware of this.Sebastian hat geschrieben:It seems there are no english help files, only german ones. Re: English help files missing
Dear Sebastia, dear Tim,
yes, in fact are the English help files and videos still missing. We finished at first the German version because we need Z88Aurora V2 for the 4th edition of our book "Finite Elemente Analyse fuer Ingenieure" which ist one of the best seeling books on FEA in the German-speaking european countries i.e. Germany, Austria and Switzerland and this book should be published in August.
Next week we'll start the English translation of the help files and videos but because we have a lot of work for another research project i guess that we'll need a couple of weeks for finishing the English help files.
In the meantime, you may use Aurora V2 without the English helpfiles because Aurora V2 itself is able to operate in English, see "options".
Best regards
Prof. Rieg

Re: English help files missing
Thanks, V2 up and running without hitch in english. Just scratching my head a little at the V1 / V2 differences- i knew FEA wasn't going to be easy!
