Simulating elastomer

I have to simulate the behavior of a cylindrical elastomer capsule subjected to compression on one face and confined on its other sides. The simulation, of course, is conducted as non-linear.
I don't understand whether the program admits a stress-strain curve of a non-symmetrical type ( an elastomer has an elastoplastic behavior when subjected to traction and an hyperelastic behavior if compressed).
In the case the program cannot take into account the anisotropic behavior I ask if it is correct to only set the part of the stress-strain curve relative to negative deformations since is expected that the elastomer is compressed.
