I'm trying to learn how to use z88aurora.
Is it possible to automatically apply the self-weight using the densities defined for the materials?
(like in Ansys, for example, applying the acceleration of gravity on any axis)
Thank you in advance for your colaboration!

Re: Self-Weight Load
Dear emartin,
unfortunately it is not possible to use gravity, so the density parameter can't be used to calculate self-weight loads.
This feature is under development and will be available in a future version of Z88Aurora.
Kind regards,
SHautsch

Re: Self-Weight Load
Dear Shautsch,
thank you very much for your reply. I was trying to introduce the application in my classroom at the University of Coruña. But for us it is essential the inclusion of self-weight. Please let us know if you can include this issue. Thank you very much for your help

Re: Self-Weight Load
Dear emartin,
there are lots of interesting features and we are always working on implementing them in our software.
If you want be up to speed with the development of Z88Aurora, you can enroll to our newsletter (which is released about twice a year):
