Is there any possibility that z88 tells me what elements present problems in the Jacobian?

yes, there is a possibility. If you click on mesh info (in the superelement menu), the file z88det.txt is written to your working directory. In this file you can find the number of "bad" elements in the first line and in the lines after you find the element numbers.
