Hi,
is there any chance to re-import a structure after doing some simulations?
For example re-import a bended beam and later do some thermal calculations on the bended structure.
If this is possible are there any recommendations on how to preferably do it?

Hello Wohenke,

sorry, but there is no straight solution. You can add the displacements from the file z88o2.txt to all coordinates in z88structure.txt. An disadvantage is that all strains calculated in the first step are unaccounted for the second step.
A thermal analysis is not possible with beam elements.
