Re: Error: Z88RO2AG
Hello Albert,
your STL file contains invalid triangles (wrong orientation).
This results in a bad mesh which cannot be solved.
You can use the STL-Checker tool (top menu bar > Tools > Edit STL) to check and repair your STL.
The next step is to use another mesher, if you tried Tetgen just use Netgen and compare the results. It looks like Tetgen creates a bad mesh for your structure, which includes great volume differences of the finite elements and distorted elements with bad internal angles. You can check the mesh compute capability in the "Preprocessing > Mesh: Tetrahedrons" menu via "Mesh info" - if that says the mesh is computable, you are fine. Otherwise you need to remove the current mesh and create a new one. You can use other mesh tools (external ones like Gmsh, Netgen, etc.) or our internal versions of Tetgen and Netgen.
If you experience further problems, feel free to ask again.
Kind regards,
SHautsch
