Issues to solvers, multi core, stress parameter
I would like to run "b2" example project (crane truss) in Windows 8.1 environment. I made a "temp" directory, and copied some files here:
libiomp5md.dll, and the original data files
The command was: z883 -t -choly
The running was stopped with error message:
### cannot open Z88MAN.TXT ..stop ###
Sorry I don't found any from "Z88MAN.TXT"...

Z88Aurora V2 is not meant to be used via CLI. Did you try Z88V14 OS for your purposes?
The solver of Z88Aurora cannot read z88structure/sets/setsactive-files, those are converted for the solver by our z88ag2ri-converter into z88i1/2/5/elp/int/man/mat-files.
If you really need to solve your problem with Z88Aurora V2, why don't you use it with our GUI?
If there is no other possibility than using Z88Aurora via CLI, please let us know and we will provide you with information about how to prepare the input files for the solver and get it working.

I'm working on a tower design program:

This modul will be a part of an architectural design system, the Building Patterns: http://buildingpatterns.com
The system is a client/server type. The designer run at the machine of user, the analyse is running at the server side. The user's machine is sending tower data in text files, and will get results the same.
Please suggestion on how I can solve this.
Z88Aurora was developed to make things easier for the user by providing a graphical user interface.
To use our FEM application via command line, please refer to our open source version Z88V14OS, which can easily be used for your purposes.
If you are satisfied with Frame3DD, there is no need to switch to Z88. But please compare the simulation results with the analytical solution of your problem to ensure correct results.
