Solver conversion error

Hello everyone. I am making progress on my work to map a non-uniform temperature boundary condition for steady state thermal simulations thanks to your help. I have converted my mesh from Salome format and tested it works with uniform boundary conditions. I have then formatted the z88sets, z88setsactive files with the boundary conditions and they appear to show up correctly in Z88AuroraV2b.

I am trying to run a simulation on the steady state solver, but I get the following in z88ag2thi.log after the converted unexpectedly stops:

Code: Alles auswählen

z88i1.txt
# 3 Element 1 ist in keinem aktiven Materialset enthalten.
z88i2.txt
z88ti2.txt
z88i5.txt
z88ti5.txt
z88int.txt
z88i1.txt
# 3 Element 1 ist in keinem aktiven Materialset enthalten.
z88i2.txt
z88ti2.txt
z88i5.txt
z88ti5.txt
z88int.txt
z88i1.txt
# 3 Element 1 ist in keinem aktiven Materialset enthalten.
z88i2.txt
z88ti2.txt
z88i5.txt
z88ti5.txt
z88int.txt
z88i1.txt
z88i1.txt
z88i1.txt
z88i1.txt
z88i1.txt
z88i1.txt
The translated error message says that Element 1 is not part of a material set, but since I created the material set in Z88Aurora, I'm not sure why this is.

I am running under Windows, with the structure having 125442 nodes and 75348 elements. 23323 nodes have a temperature mapped on them.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hello mturcios,

it´s hard to say where an error is located. Did you try to delete your material set and define a new one?

If you wish we check your project. Then it´s easier for us to find possible errors. Just send a mail to z88aurora(at)uni-bayreuth.de!

Kind regards,

Z88Aurora Support team

Hi ChriDin (and other Z88 users),

It appears I spoke too soon. I did some reformatting of the file and saw there were some inconsistencies. It all works now.

Thanks for your reply!
