Hello
I'm wondering what unit's are used for the pressure when implementing boundary conditions for my analasys since my Z88 calculation are not giving me nearly the same result as when I calculate it by hand? What I've tested is a simple 1 m diameter membrane with 1 mm thickness imported from Catia V5. In Z88 I give the pressure of 10 but if I should get the same result of the displacement I need to apply almost 500 Pa and I can't find a good reason for it. I also used totaly fixed edges of the membrane.
Best regards
Andreas

Re: A question regarding pressure units
Hello Klint,
that´s simple. While importing structures you define the units. That means your model should be in mm, you have to adapt the units for boundary conditions and material properties equally. Be careful! Using aurora's own material library, the units are mm/N. So pressure's unit is N/mm².
