Re: post-processor
Hi z88 team,
how to read the result of stresses at the specific node,
for example node no. 10 at the element no. 300......
and how to read result at the z88o3?
sorry about that,
because this is first time i use the simulation.....

Re: post-processor
Hello che,
in the file z88o3.txt are the computing stresses in Gauss points. If you calculated with 4 Gauss points you get 4 lines per element. The coordinates and the values of the stresses..

If you wait two more weeks we publish a updated version where you can write out spefic result data from a node or element set.how to read the result of stresses at the specific node,
for example node no. 10 at the element no. 300......

hi z88 team,
in the Z88o3 result,
what does mean XX, YY, ZZ, SIGXX, SIGYY, SIGZZ, TAUXY, TAUYZ, TAUZX and SIGV?

Re: post-processor
Hello che,
here is a small list to your question:
- XX,YY,ZZ means the coordinates of integration points
- SIGXX,SIGYY,SIGZZ means the normal stress (not principal stress)
- TAUXY,TAUYZ,TAUZX means the shear stress
- SIGV is the equivalent stress (depending on your choice in the pre-processing menue)
With kind regards
FRudolph

Re: post-processor
Hello,
I asked myself the same question.
I suggest that this explanation be added in the documentation regarding output files.
Thank you.
Fabrice.
