Hi all,
How do you specify "hydrostatic pressure" inside a vessel on top of the normal pressure load?
Thanks.

Hello,

you are able to define several loads to one or more elements. If you want to add a hydrostatic pressure to your normal pressure load you have to calculate the hydrostatic load, select the elements and define your resulting loads. If I got you wrong please describe your problem a little bit closer.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.

Hydrostatic pressure is different at each height/level of the column.
Like a water column.
So how to specify a pressure load which is increasing uniformly towards the bottom of the water column.
This hydrostatic pressure needs to be on top of the operating pressure of for instance a pressure vessel.

Hope you understand the case.

Best regards

Hello,

it is not possible to create a hydrostatic pressure automatically. But you can divide the height in several parts. Then you can create a set for each part, calculate the corrresponding value and define your loads.
