asymmetrical results?
Hi Aurora team, I noticed (sometimes) that when I have a geometrically symmetrical structure, with forces symmetrically applied to that structure and symmetrical boundary conditions, strain or deformation results are sometimes asymmetrical with respect to the initial situation. This is cannot be phy...

meshing of super element 21
sorry to bother you with this, I'm probably making a stupid error: I'm trying to mesh a trivial type 21 super element as shown below with type 21 finite elements. After importing the Z88ni.txt below and starting to mesh Z88Aurora stops with the message: cannot read struture data! Am I making a forma...

thin film stress
Hi Aurora team, I'm trying to analyse the effect of thin film stress on a substrate. Since the thin film thickness is negligible as compared to the substrate thickness I was intending to impose a surface stress on the substrate material. In ANSYS this can be done with the INISTATE command. For Auror...

re-import
Hi,
is there any chance to re-import a structure after doing some simulations?
For example re-import a bended beam and later do some thermal calculations on the bended structure.
If this is possible are there any recommendations on how to preferably do it?
thanks and kind regards
